Thank you achinglyordinary and bethechangeyouwishtoosee for tagging me, lovelies! I’ve postponed so many tags but this; I was simply too excited to wait! xo-lovepalestine thanks for starting this and may you all be rewarded, blessed and guided.

You are supposed to share one of you’re favorite ayas and explain why it’s your favorite and how it has affected you. This definitely was NOT easy, and if I could I would simply upload a picture of the Quran!
After having said that, the above aya means so much to me because at times of hardship and struggle, all my ups and downs. Sometimes I even feel so blessed that I am overwhelmed! This aya reminds me that a peace of mind and heart is just one sajda, one dua’a, or one thought away. It also brings to mind so many other ayas depending on my circumstance, it reminds me to stay humble and true, to be patient because that inner peace is coming.
“Verily in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest”

Many people try to solve the problem of heartbreak by hardening their hearts. But the hardened heart is the most distant from Allah. So by hardening the heart, you aren’t protecting yourself. You’re killing yourself. The heart that’s alive is by definition entirely soft, fragile, and vulnerable. It is by definition breakable. That’s why we are taught to surround it with layers upon layers of protection. Thikr (remembrance of God) works to protect the heart, while at the same time softening it. And the more we remember Him, the more protection we build for a softer and softer heart.

If you genuinely love someone, don’t ever decorate their eyes with tears, their ears with lies, and their heart with wounds.

She stares… With a blank expression on her face, “don’t cry, don’t cry” she tells herself but the tears roll down her face, as she watches the love of her life with the love of his life….💔
